Your Funded Account

After completing Step 2 of the challenge, you gain access to your funded account. Withdraw real-world funds from your simulated profits. Request your first withdrawal after 14 days, as long as you meet eligibility requirements. After this, continue to withdraw based on your program choice at purchase: 65% payout split with weekly payouts, or 80% payout split with bi-weekly payouts. It’s your choice! Eligibility requires meeting the Minimum Profitable Trading Days condition and reaching the minimum withdrawal criteria. Your funded account maintains the same Max Drawdown, Daily Drawdown Limit, and Symbol Loss Limits as your challenge phases.

Payout Split & Fast Withdrawals

For this 2-Step challenge, your payout split is paired with your payout frequency – you choose these at purchase. Choose weekly payouts for a fixed 65% payout split, or choose bi-weekly payouts for a fixed 80% payout split. When you make a withdrawal request, you receive your assigned payout percentage of the requested simulated funds in real-world currency. All withdrawal requests are subject to our internal risk review, and we always aim to complete these promptly.

Request withdrawals easily through your FT+ Dashboard. For this 2-Step challenge, you must meet all withdrawal conditions and have no open trades. The minimum withdrawal amount is 1% of your simulated starting balance. Drawdown Rules for 2-Step Pro Challenge

Our 2-Step challenge has clear, fair drawdown rules to protect simulated capital and your trading progress. We use both hard rules and soft rules.

Breaking a hard rule results in account closure. Breaking a soft rule never closes your account – the system simply closes any position that breaches the soft rule. Trade with confidence knowing the rules are transparent and designed for your success.

We have simple hard and soft rules to protect our capital and the simulated profits of our traders.

Breaking a hard rule results in account closure.

Breaking a soft rule will not close your account but will automatically close any open positions that violate the rule.

  • Hard Rules
  • Do not breach our Daily Simulated Loss limit
  • Do not breach our total Maximum Simulated Loss limit
  • Do not breach our Symbol Loss limit
  • Soft Rules
  • There are no soft rules that will close a trade
  • Minimum Profitable Trading Days Rule
  • Minimum simulated gain of 0.5% of your account size on three separate days

Daily Simulated Loss

Daily Simulated Loss will start at 5% of the original account size. Then, with each new trading day, it will become 5% of the prior day’s balance or equity, whichever is higher. This update happens when the server’s clock hits 23:59 (16:59 EST) and prevents you from losing too much in a single day. This will always be updated in your FT+ dashboard. The best way to explain the daily loss limit is by example:

Daily loss limit starts at 5% of the original account and updates to 5% of the prior day’s balance at 23:59 server time.

Daily Simulated Loss Help Center
  • Day Example 1
  • Previous Day Starting Balance at 23:59 = $100,000
  • Daily Loss Limit = $5,000 (5%)
  • $100,000 – $5,000 = $95,000
  • Day Example 2
  • Previous Day Starting Balance at 23:59 = $106,000
Previous Day Equity at 23:59 $107,500
  • Daily Loss Limit (5%) of the higher equity figure = $5,375
  • $107,500 (Prior Day’s Equity) – $5,375 = $102,125
Note: If the trader has winning trades in a given day, the amount those winning trades make is added to the daily simulated loss allowance for that day

Static Maximum Simulated Loss

Our Static Maximum Simulated Loss is set at the beginning and remains unchanged. Static Drawdown does not adjust with account highs or new closed balance peaks.

Static Maximum Simulated Loss stays fixed from the start and doesn’t adjust with account highs or balance peaks.

Maximum Simulated Loss Help Center
  • Example 1
  • Starting Balance = $100,000
  • Total Maximum Simulated Loss Limit = $10,000 (10%)
  • 10% of $100,000 = $10,000. $100,000 – $10,000 = $90,000
  • Example 2
  • Day Starting Simulated Balance = $111,000
  • Total Maximum Simulated Loss Limit = $21,000

Symbol Loss Limit

The Symbol Loss Limit for this program is 2%. This figure is calculated from the prior day’s balance at 23:59 server time (16:59 EST). This rule will trigger if you have a cumulative loss of 2% of this figure, as a result of positions on a particular symbol (e.g. 2% loss on XAU/USD positions).

Our 2-Step Prestige Pro Challenge has a unique scaling plan and we believe it’s the best scaling plan available for static drawdown challenges in prop trading.

Scale your funded account up to $2,500,000 in simulated capital – the best scaling plan in prop trading.

  • Your closed balance on your FT+ Trader simulated live account must hit the scaling target for your account (see scale table).
  • No open trades at the time of scaling request (account will be disabled while the scale is actioned, and re-enabled once complete).
  • To scale up, you must have 10% simulated profit in your closed balance. Each level requires 10% new profit, with no carryover from previous levels. Skipping levels isn’t allowed.
  • Subject to risk review upon scaling request.

What Happens to Your Drawdown?

Your maximum simulated loss is linked to your newly scaled account starting size.

This means if your new account starting size after scaling is $100,000, your maximum simulated loss will be calculated from this figure (e.g. 10% of $100,000 = $10,000). In this specific example, your simulated account balance would have to decrease to less than $90,000 in order to trigger a breach of the maximum simulated loss rule, on your newly scaled account.

Daily simulated loss continues to be calculated from your prior day’s closed account balance or equity at 23:59 server time, whichever is higher.

When Can You Scale?

We have tried to simplify the process other firms use to determine when you can request to scale your account size.  With Funded Trading Plus, it’s as simple as 1, 2, 3!

  • You must have made a minimum of 1 approved withdrawal from your ‘FT+ Trader’ account.
  • You must have held your account for at least 2 months prior to your first scaling request, or have 2 months elapsed since your last successful account scaling.
  • You must have a withdrawable profit of at least 20% of your starting account balance.

How to Make a Scaling Request

  • Ensure you meet all the requirements in respect of simulated profit, timescales, and withdrawal criteria.
  • Ensure that you have no active simulated-trades open on your account.
  • Raise a support ticket, to request an account scaling review.
  • We will then temporarily disable your account whilst we perform the relevant risk review, and determine whether scaling is appropriate in the circumstances.
  • If your request is approved, we will make all necessary amendments to your account balance and drawdown parameters.

In all cases we aim to complete the scaling request review and communicate our decision within 48 business hours (Monday – Friday) of your request.

Why Would You Choose to Scale?

The idea of scaling is linked to simulated buying power. Simply put, some choose to increase their buying power to strive for larger simulated gains.

With this, there is always a concern that due to the increased buying power, traders will change their approach to risk. Because of this, all scaling requests are subject to our normal Risk Review Policy to ensure that those who request to scale are demonstrating the highest standards in terms of risk management within their account history.

Scaling Example for 2-Step Pro Challenge

Andy has had their $100,000 ‘FT+ Trader’ account on the Prestige Lite Program for 2 calendar months, and is doing well. They have already had a withdrawal approved on their account, and continue to make simulated-profit.

Upon reaching a withdrawable account balance of $120,000 Andy submits a request via a support ticket to have their account scaled to the next level.
Our Operations Team temporarily disable Andy’s account to conduct a review of the request. They note that Andy’s risk management is in a good place, and they clearly know how to manage their simulated trading account. They make the relevant changes to account size and drawdown.

Within 48 business hours, Andy receives confirmation via support ticket that their request has been approved. The account is then re-enabled and Andy receives his account with a new starting size of $150,000 + his simulated profit of $20,000, giving a total simulated account balance of $170,000.
Andy’s maximum simulated loss is calculated from the new account starting size of $150,000, and the lowest figure his account can reach prior to triggering a hard breach of the program’s parameters is $135,000.
